Edna Okui, an active and beloved member of the Thousand Oaks Art Association, died just one year ago (April 2nd) after a long battle with cancer. As a tribute to her memory, I gathered together photos of Edna’s works in watercolor, aqua media, and Chinese brush painting/calligraphy. This collection was recently displayed at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts where I also culled tributes from her memory book on view there. Edna’s memorial website can be accessed through the Gallery section of this site. Just click on GALLERY…..MEMBER ARTWORK…..IN MEMORY OF. May she rest in peace!
