GREEN/VERT/VERDE - Environmentally Inspired

"GREEN/VERT/VERDE - Environmentally Inspired" is an invitational art exhibit about renewal and recycling.
Each of the twelve artists in this group show has the freedom to interpret the title through their art,
telling the viewer what is environmentally inspiring.

Recycled metal, endangered species, and repurposed materials are all themes incorporated in this exhibit.
Green as the color found in landscapes and nature is also depicted by some artists.

This exhibit is presented by the Arts Council of the Conejo Valley, "The Voice of the Arts",
in The Galleria at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts.....

Elements Art & Fashion Show - Charity Event

Ran Elson: Whimsy and Delight Show

Fran Elson has a piece in the lobby of the Hall of Administration in Ventura, that is part of �Whimsy and Delight�,
the current show by the Ventura County Council of the Arts.
It�s a free standing piece, and quite large and heavy, so thank you, Ed, for your help with it.
It�s quite an interesting show and runs until September 25th,
with an artist reception on Thursday, July 29th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.

Tesi Sanchez-Halpert Wins VAC Grant

Tesi Sanchez-Halpert has won a grant from the Ventura County Arts Council.

Ventura Arts Festival to ArtWalk

The Ventura Art Festival has announced that it will now be part of ArtWalk in Ventura.. The event, now known as Arts in the Park, will take place during ArtWalk, Saturday, October 16 from 1:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 17 from 12:00 p.m. -5:00 p.m. at Plaza Park in downtown Ventura.....

Five Southern California artists team up to show what can happen when passionate, award-winning painters meld traditional techniques with contemporary vision.
The exciting show is simply called �Five Artists".
The show runs Aug. 16 to Aug. 29 with a reception on Aug. 21 and an artist paint-off on Aug. 29.
